Privacy Policy

Information about website requests, email correspondence and advertising-related privacy.

This notice describes BentleyDealers.com's independent public information website. The publication's privacy contact is info@bentleydealers.com. It does not describe Bentley Motors or third-party websites linked from our articles.

Information associated with a visit

The public journal does not require registration. The private CMS stores administrator account details, content, uploaded images and security/activity records. Administrator passwords are stored as one-way hashes; sign-in uses a session cookie.

The server and services used to deliver and protect a website can process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser information, requested address, request time and technical errors. Such information is used for delivery, security and troubleshooting. The hosting provider's actual logging, retention and processing locations depend on the hosting arrangement. Contact us for information about the arrangement applying to your visit.

When you email us

We receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. We use correspondence to respond to enquiries, investigate corrections or rights concerns, and maintain a record of the issue. Please send only what is needed. Email and hosting providers may process information as part of providing their services.

We keep correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the matter and any associated record-keeping or legal obligations. Where applicable, our basis for processing is our legitimate interest in operating the publication, responding to enquiries and protecting rights; consent is used where required. We do not use an editorial enquiry as permission to send marketing.

Advertising and optional technologies

Where Google or other advertising partners are enabled, they may use cookies, IP addresses and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, subject to the applicable choices. A direct image banner may link to an external advertiser whose own privacy notice applies when followed. The current status is shown below.

Google explains its processing in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. For this edition's current use of browser storage, see our Cookie Policy. Reading this notice or continuing to browse is not treated as consent to optional tracking.

We do not sell personal information collected through editorial correspondence. Information may be handled by service providers needed to deliver the site or email, or disclosed where reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, protect rights or investigate misuse. External sites operate under their own notices; visiting them creates a separate interaction with that provider.

Your choices and enquiries

Depending on your location and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact the privacy address with your request. We may need proportionate information to verify it. You may also contact the relevant data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

The publication is intended for a general motoring audience and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information that should be removed, contact us. No internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure; please do not email sensitive information unnecessarily.

Changes

If our features or processing practices change, we will update this notice to reflect them. The date shown on this page identifies this edition of the notice.
